Synopsis:
When Scotty, Uhura, McCoy and Kirk find themselves trapped in a bizarre and violent alternate universe after a transporter accident over Halka II, the quartet must try to blend into a society physically identical but morally opposite than their own world. Here the Enterprise is the terror-mongering warship of a brutal empire and its mission is to annihilate the pacifist Halkans. Kirk plays for time, delaying the slaughter, but delay is risky, as it arouses the suspicion of the formidable alternate-Spock. As the foursome recreate the accident in an attempt to return to their own universe, the captain must dodge the alternate Spock, who has orders to kill him if he further delays the slaughter of the Halkons. He's also watched by his alter ego's beautiful, bored -- but dangerous -- "captain's woman," who holds the key to a secret weapon that may hold the answer to their return.
Guest Cast:
John Winston as Lt. Kyle
Barbara Luna as Lt. Marlena Moreau
